Something strange I'm seeing... In this DoveNet area I'm seeing a
    dozen
or so messages that were posted in the FSXNet "General" echo. Somehow
they are being gated to here, complete with FSX origin lines.

Anybody else seeing this, and/or know the cause?

Not seeing it here. Double-check your internal codes. Sounds like you be
using the same internal code for both subs.

I take that back, I am seeing those messages.

Just curious, who is handling the ftn side of DoveNet?

There is no official "ftn side of DOVE-Net" (e.g. an official zone number, hub, node list). Some sysops gate to FTN for some periods of time and then stop. <shrug>

I allow FTN nodes to get dovenet here, if that is what you meant.

I am not sure who is gating some of the echoes to FIDO specifically.

While I don't think it's you doing the gating, your point address in your origin line for this echo on your test system probably isn't helping the matter.

Unless you actually posted this to FSX. Then there's an issue, since I'm reading this in the Dovenet Help area.

Not sure on that one. However, while I didn't reply with Golded on those specific messages, but while I tested with it there were a few (the same ones I had issues with in NNTP) that didn't put you in the "To" field. There was only one so far that seemed to work in Golded, but not via NNTP.

The web board, where that message and this one were entered, adds no headers in QWK networked areas. Whatever headers are on it when they get to you are added after they leave here (at VERT, I would guess).

That'd also be true of my old DOS BBS that is on Dove... no headers added in QWK areas.

That does help. Sounds like no headers works.

I can't speak for the other newer packages out there now like Enigma, Talisman,
or whatever else has come about somewhat recently, though.

IIRC, I was able to do it with both Magicka and Talisman when I ran them.

It was supposedly built into the last version of GT Power (19.00), but I
had been using BGNET for several years by then and, since it still worked, I didn't try the built in feature much.
