My roommate got mad at his girlfriend, because she ate his side salad. He broke up with her over it. I walked outside and could tell they were fighting. She went to leave, and I begged her not to go. She had been drinking, well both of them. She agreed and decided to stay. She went inside, and they got back together quickly, and started fooling around.
A side note, is that she stayed the night, and brought her dog.
Okay, back to the story. I went outside 6 hours later, and heard her dog barking in the car. I went to the door, and said something and my roommate shooed me away. I went outside and tried to get the dog out of her car. The dog was visibly upset, and after taking several bites to my hands and arm. She finally calmed down. I picked her up and carried her in the house and tried to get their attention, my roommate proceeded to shoo me away. Something about that whole range of events, really bothered me. I would never forget my dog. I couldn't possibly even think of doing that, so how did this happen? The drinking, or are the priorities just wrong? How could someone forget their dog, and leave it in a car for 6 hours over an argument about a side salad? Why even the argument about a salad. It's not a big deal, not worth ending a relationship over.
...Degeneration and evolution are not the same thing.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of alcoholism or drug use. I have seen firsthand what it did to family and friends and decided at an early age to stay away from all of it and be a better person. I have seen the way these people treated each other and acted, and I made a vowel to do the exact opposite and try and break those "generational curses". So far it seems to be working in my position.

Yeah man, I don't mess with that stuff. Especially alcohol, it seems to ruin lives. Like I think dude has a problem, he will not come back from. He laughs and thinks it's funny. One weekend he woke up at like 8, and by 9 he was sweating and shaking. With that in mind, how can someone work all day, fighting that? I don't think they can. My opinion is that he is doing it there too. I don't consider weed really a drug, been there done that. It got boring, and I just quit buying it. I was out one day, and was going to grab some on the way home. I forgot, and a few weeks go by, I was like hey I have not done that in a while. So I just left it alone.
