It was hot in nc today. Any users gained is cool! It's because you have one of the best boards I have ever been on.

If you don't mind me asking, what happened? Why did you have to rebuild it?

    I don't mind explaining.
I was doing some testing of a Freepbx vs voip.ms system for work for
some features a client would like to have in their pbx and needed to
reload the pc for a day or so for the test.
I really should see if I can get the bbs to run on my mac instead of the
slow pc it runs on now that I need to use from time to time to test
    other operating systems.

How slow is it? I bet it's faster than my daily driver. It's a Linux box running Ubuntu with 4 gig of ram a quad-core intel CPU. It's an original I5 with a super slow hard drive.

I think its a Toshiba C655 with a i3 proc duel core 4 gigs ram and
    500 gig
    slow spinning hd.

This one I am using is about the same lol. I had to set some environment variables, it actually fixed the hitching I was getting on youtube.
    echo 'vm.sysctl.swappiness=10' | sudo tee -a /etc/sysctl.conf

At least you did not have to pay anything for it.

Im not complaining a bit. Once those enviroment variables where set the computer ran like a brand new one
