    Interesting..... I just configured "SIXEL-TV 9000" on my BBS.

    It streams video from YouTube over a SIXEL compatible terminal like SyncTerm. For what it is, it looks decent over telnet.

    "Audio is served out-of-band via a tiny HTTP server built into the door -- the door shows the user a short URL that they open on their phone or a second browser tab, and MP3 audio streams there while the SIXEL video plays in their BBS window."

    I mean.. the darn thing works. Just wish audio would come over telnet so you don't need a browser, cause you night as well just watch the video in the browser - but hey.

    Still cool.

    How come I didn't see a link for the audio? I have an older version of syncterm. It's one gen behind the last update. I think it still allows links to be opened from there though. I got to do some more research.

    Man I really need to get around to installing the sixel tv! Does it run with windows os? I know for a fact linux supports sixel and it's hard to get sixel to work with ubuntu. I had to read up on in and it's not really compatible. Like you got to jump through some hoops and stuff just to get windows to convert sixel images...I don't know about the sixel tv app. It may have the ability to display sixel without all bs. I was going to install a sixel image gallery for ufo's and covert them jpegs and what not to sixel. Come to find out, I need linux for it! :( uggghhh linux is a pain to run with synchronet. I know some dudes get it no problem. I have had so many issues installing synchronet with ubuntu, I gave up bruh
