I upgraded to an ssd and added some ram to my desktop, daily driver pc. I was using ubuntu 22.04 lts, and now I am upgrading to the latest and greatest. I hope all my stuff doesn't break. It took me a long time to get my desktop setup the way I wanted it. My Gnome, is like Mac os tahoe, and my kde is a blend between windows 11 and mac. I went from having 4 gigs of ram on an old hard drive, with a single head, to an ssd. This thing is actually flying compared to what it was doing before. It's like I got a brand new pc. Now I do have a power supply, and a big wapping gpu I could throw in it. I haven't looked to see how much of a pain it would be to do that yet...I want to, because that gpu would fix a lot of issues. The one I have now doesn't have enough ram. Sometimes, effects aren't displayed correct, or when I hover my mouse over something, the text isn't displayed. Especially the right click.
