  • Chat night

From Morningstarr@123:0/1 to All on Saturday, April 25, 2026 09:30:28
I was wondering if you guys wanted to have a chat night once a week. We can host it on each other's boards and rotate, or just have it on hobbyspace.
    What do you guys think?

...I shot an arrow into the air, and it stuck.

Could set it up via MRC / IRC, IRC being useful given that SBBS has the inbuilt IRC server/client. MRC wouldn't be bad but it's not explicitly native.

InterBBS chat would be cool as well but that too requires SBBS so yeaah... I dunno. Throwing out ideas.

I have an irc server. I wonder if all of us use Synchronet.

HAHA and that's a good thing. If one of us comes up with a mod we can share it, no issues! :)

Well let's agree on a day, and we will go from there. Yeah we could use irc, or something like that. I think it would be cool to logon to a board and use the chat room built in our boards. It gives the board more logons, and the stats go up. Plus the built in chat for Synchronet has some funny actions. They can be modded, and new actions can be added.
